About this course

Recall the last time you were sitting in a sales meeting or any meeting for that matter. Can you hear the conversations around the table and see the people talking? Now, can you remember what was said, what was decided as well as recollect how you responded? Truly, communication skills are at the centre of everything we do, say and feel every day of our lives. To be a great communicator, we all benefit from listening intently to what others are saying, effectively processing information, and responding so that we can elicit connectivity and meaning. When we actively listen, we switch on a completely different channel of communication and ultimately create significant rapport with individuals and teams.

Why is this important?

Whether we are buying or selling, or influencing an outcome, we all want to be in a position where we are really heard and what we say contributes to a better outcome. As you read this, ask yourself how will active listening make you a better contributor, an outstanding sales person, a fulfilled team player or simply a happier and more positive individual. This one day workshop focuses on the key components of active listening, the use of body language and the positive listening attitude, genuine communication, the code and decode of communication, navigating communication road blocks, and listening styles.

What’s included?

The all inclusive full workshop fee is $340* and covers: 1 day workshop; learning resources; ½ hour complementary pre-workshop preparation either by phone or Skype with Glen Palmer; certificate of participation (upon completion of workshop).
